Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato born August 20, 1992 is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and actress. Her earliest roles included Angela on Barney and friends, before she became better known for her starring roles in the Camp Rock movies, as Sonny Munroe in Sonny with a Chance, and as the star of the 2009 movie Princess Protection Program. She is also involved in philanthropic activities through charity work and various social and environmental causes.As a solo musical artist, Lovato released her debut album Don't Forget on September 23, 2008. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard selling 89,000 copies in the first week. It has since shipped over 500,000 copies earning a Gold certification in the United States.Lovato released her second album, Here we go again, on July 21, 2009.The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling 108,000 copies in the first week.

Demi Lovato Leaves Treatment Facility

Demi Lovato is back in Lala land, JJJ can confirm.
The 18-year-old actress/singer has returned to Los Angeles to complete therapy, sources close to the family tell us. Demi completed her prescribed treatment and an outpatient program near the treatment facility and will be getting back to her regular routine and spending time with her family and close friends.
Demi entered treatment for emotional and physical issues late last year after an altercation during the South American leg of the Camp Rock The Final Jam tour.
Demi and her family also wanted to thank the fans for their continued support. “She is so grateful to all of her fans for their unbelievable support, and looks forward to being able to talk to all of them very soon,” they shared.
